THE LOVE OF CHRIST MINISTRIES

The Love of Christ Ministries (TLC) was the first place I volunteered at in 2003 for 10 months and is located just south of Johannesburg, South Africa. 

TLC takes in abandoned babies while a forever-family is being found locally or internationally.  It was a challenging 10 months with long days, but it taught me so much.  The compassion and hard work from the founder, board, staff and volunteers is humbling. I would strongly recommend TLC as a place to donate to and/or volunteer.

Local attractions for international volunteers are Gold Reef City,  Sun City Resort or if you want to get away for a weekend you can visit the well known game reserve, Kruger National Park to see the Big 5.
