KASSANDA CHILDREN'S AID

Kassanda Children's Aid is on my list to visit one day.  My friend Stacy DeVries has been involved with Kassanda for 7 years.  Below is Stacy's experience with Kassanda.

"I have had the privilege of working with Kassanda Children’s Aid for 7 years now. The men and women in this organization sacrifice most of their time, energy and resources caring for orphans and the women who have committed to caring for them despite disease, illness, extreme poverty. Many children are affected by AIDS/HIV and cannot afford school fees, medical care, or even food. Stacy oversees a village school in the Kassanda district to get these most vulnerable children off the streets and educated, while keeping the teachers accountable to effective discipline and teaching practices."
